wood working, fine furniture, boats, fishing nets, turnings

I apprenticed at the Arques School of boat building from 1997-98. At Arques, we built traditionally designed and built wooden boats. After leaving the school, I primarily worked on wooden rowing shells.   I usually have a few shells hanging in my shop.  These boats come to me mainly through the work of Darryl Strickler www.Rowableclassics.com.

I recently completed a 16′ McKenzie river boat.  That has taken me to many beautiful, trout plentiful spots here in the Pacific Northwest.  I am available for both new construction and repair/refinish work.
